What you will do

• Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and tools using Java and Angular.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices within Agile environments.
• Lead the detailed design and oversight of high-impact automated test cases and execution.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and present developed features.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and the Engineering Practice community.
• Drive project delivery independently from conceptualization through to deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Angular (including ngRx), and AWS services.
• Proficiency in API automation and frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and experience executing complex data validation for backend testing.
• Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub branching strategies.
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Must be based in Costa Rica.

Nice to have

• Experience in performance and load testing using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
• Proven track record of initiating projects that enhance quality and team efficiency.
