What you will do

• Onboard and verify new customers and conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews.
• Review Adverse Media, PEP, and Sanctions screening escalations and provide detailed risk assessments.
• Act as a primary escalation point for compliance-related issues within the team and across departments.
• Collaborate with AML Financial Crime and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
• Handle internal escalations regarding potential fraud and ML/TF activities.
• Upskill team members, share knowledge, and propose process improvements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Riga, Latvia (Hybrid)
• Previous experience in KYC or AML.
• English: Verbally fluent and clear written communication required
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work some bank holidays as part of a 24x7 operation.

Nice to have

• Prior experience using tools like Zendesk or Looker.
