What you will do

• Conduct complex GIS and spatial analysis using QGIS and other specialized geospatial applications.
• Develop robust Python solutions for automating GIS workflows and spatial data processing.
• Implement and maintain spatial databases using PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Design new analytical methodologies and create compelling visualizations of climate and hazard data.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts, reviewing their technical outputs.
• Foster strong client relationships through clear communication of complex technical concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in GIS, Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced geospatial analysis and Python programming.
• Proficiency with QGIS and other industry-standard GIS platforms.
• Experience with spatial databases, specifically PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to technical work.
• Ability to mentor junior technical staff and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
