What you will do

• Act as a primary point of contact for business units to enhance governance frameworks, systems, and policy implementations.
• Assess and monitor adherence to legislative requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
• Perform second-line testing of compliance controls and recommend targeted enhancements.
• Manage incidents and breaches, including analysis, reporting, and tracking remediation to closure.
• Support product risk assessments and thematic reviews across assigned portfolios.
• Provide input for Group Policies and perform gap analysis when standards are updated.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Compliance or Risk Management within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian regulatory landscape and its business impacts.
• Understanding of compliance taxonomy and product compliance.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex regulatory impacts clearly to the business.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build trust and establish strong professional relationships.
