What you will do

• Manage the daily journal workflow, acting as handling editor to provide rapid and constructive publication decisions.
• Collaborate with the Editorial Board to commission and publish subject-specific collections.
• Establish, maintain, and recruit Editorial Board Members (EBMs) while providing necessary training.
• Resolve pre- and post-publication issues related to authorship, ethics, and scientific misconduct.
• Perform community outreach through lab visits and participation in national and international conferences.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of editorial policy initiatives.

Requirements

• PhD-level research experience.
• Thorough understanding of the scientific research community and its specific needs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• High level of self-motivation and strong organizational workload management.
• Willingness to travel for professional outreach and conferences.
