What you will do

• Collaborate with animators, riggers, and programmers to build systems and implement animation.
• Create runtime rigs in the game engine.
• Improve in-house tools and pipeline together with tools programmers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for animation tools and workflows.
• Guide less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years in the game industry as a technical animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and character kinematics.
• Practical experience with complex animation systems, including state machines and motion matching techniques.
• Practical experience maintaining physics systems (ragdoll, cloth), including DCC side simulation.
• Practical experience with procedural layers, including runtime additives and Control Rigs.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C++ and C#.
• Practical experience with motion capture data pipelines.
• Shipped at least one AAA project with well-regarded animations.
