Site Reliability Engineer

Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps): Responsible for the ownership of hirify.global SaaS reliability with an accent on performance, stability and security. Focus on mitigating issues on production systems and building solutions through automation to prevent them from reoccurring.

Salary: $92,000 – $135,000/year

What you will do

• Monitor and improve the availability, performance, and security of production services.
• Apply prevention steps to improve production services reliability.
• Mitigate issues on production systems and build solutions through automation to prevent recurrence.
• Enhance the monitoring system to improve service reliability and provide dashboards to other teams.
• Automate common, repeatable tasks using Ansible and scripting languages.
• Triage and manage escalation of cases, performing deliberate and structured troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience focused on site reliability, DevOps Engineering, system administration, or application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows OS, network architecture, and security configurations.
• Hands-on experience with automation/configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on experience with scripting technologies such as Python, Ruby, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with IAC (Infrastructure as code) like Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
