Backend Engineer

TL;DR

Backend Engineer (Java/Spring Boot): Developing highly-scalable mobile internet backends for millions of users with an accent on microservices architecture, REST API design, and message queue integration. What you will do

• Develop highly-scalable mobile internet backends for millions of users.
• Work with Project Managers and other development team members to determine new features and user stories.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to original vision and standard resource libraries.
• Respond to support calls for applications in production for quick diagnosis and repair.
• Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration, and team retrospectives.
• Mentoring less experienced team members

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ Years within a relevant role
• Be based within Europe or Latin America
• Preferred experience in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data and iBATIS
• Strong experience with highly-scalable web backends
• Experience designing highly transactional systems
• Excellent communication skills in English
