About the Role

You will research emerging DeFi innovations and develop proof-of-concepts for market-making strategies and tooling. You will design, implement and refine liquidity provisioning strategies, perform quantitative analysis of on-chain trading activity, and produce data-driven presentations. You will own client relationships, support onboarding and account management, respond to custom client requests, and collaborate with engineers, data scientists and business development to improve algorithms and production tooling.

Requirements

• At least 2 years professional experience in trading, quantitative finance, or market making
• Experience in quantitative analysis and data science, preferably on-chain data/DeFi
• Web3 native with regular use of DeFi protocols
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Python or Rust
• Hands-on software development experience in a quantitative finance environment
• Communications and presentation skills for mixed stakeholder audiences
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments with ambitious targets
• Well-organised with strong time management skills

Responsibilities

• Research emerging DeFi protocols and innovations
• Develop proof-of-concepts for market-making strategies and tooling
• Design and refine liquidity provisioning strategies
• Perform quantitative analysis of on-chain trading activity
• Aggregate and analyze on-chain data to inform decisions
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and business development
• Own and manage client relationships and onboarding
• Monitor market-making activities and respond to client requests
• Create internal presentations and data-driven recommendations
