Quantitative Researcher (Fintech)

TL;DR

Quantitative Researcher (Fintech): Improving proprietary trading models and strategies with an accent on utilizing financial and other data to create or improve predictive models. Focus on developing and/or leveraging leading-edge statistical and machine-learning models to enhance research and development system.

Location: Must live within normal commuting distance of worksite. Remote work allowed 10 days per year.

Salary: $170,000 to $180,000

What you will do

• Improve proprietary trading models and strategies.
• Utilize financial and other data to create or improve predictive models.
• Develop and/or leverage leading-edge statistical and machine-learning models to enhance research and development system.
• Create algorithms to monetize predictive signals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• 2 months of related experience.
• Any amount of experience utilizing mathematical concepts to find solutions to quantitative problems.
• Any amount of experience designing, developing and implementing proprietary python code that improves open libraries such as the scikit-learn library of Python.
• Any amount of experience curating and performing data analysis on financial data as part of a trading system.
