Job Title: VoIP Engineer
About Us
We are an IT company offering technology and communication services to various
organizations. We support businesses with reliable, scalable, and efficient solutions that
improve operations, connectivity, and customer engagement.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced VoIP Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize our
telephony infrastructure and outbound calling environment. The ideal candidate will have strong
hands-on experience with VoIP systems, PBX platforms, SIP technologies, and autodialers,
and should be familiar with platforms such as Squaretalk, CommPeak, Octella, and
COPERATO, which offer contact center, VoIP, PBX, and autodialer capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
● Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP infrastructure and telephony services.
● Manage and support PBX systems, extensions, call routing, IVR menus, DID numbers,
voicemail, and hunt groups.
● Administer and optimize autodialer platforms for outbound campaigns, including setup,
monitoring, pacing, and performance tuning.
● Work with platforms such as Squaretalk, CommPeak, Octella, and COPERATO for call
center and voice operations.
● Monitor voice quality and resolve issues related to latency, jitter, packet loss, SIP
signaling, RTP streams, and codec compatibility.
● Manage SIP trunks, carrier connectivity, call termination, and vendor escalations.
● Ensure reliable call flow and system availability across all client and internal
environments.
● Troubleshoot telephony and dialer issues affecting agents, campaigns, and overall call
center performance.
● Support integrations between voice platforms and CRM or lead management systems.
● Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, system changes, and
troubleshooting procedures.
● Assist with system upgrades, backups, failover planning, and disaster recovery for voice
services.
● Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency, campaign delivery, and
communication performance.
Requirements
● Proven experience as a VoIP Engineer, Telecom Engineer, or in a similar role.
● Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, NAT, QoS, and
firewall/network troubleshooting.
● Experience with PBX systems such as Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, Cisco, Avaya, or
similar platforms.
● Hands-on experience managing autodialers in a call center or outbound sales
environment.
● Familiarity with Squaretalk, CommPeak, Octella, and COPERATO.
● Experience with SIP trunk providers, telecom carriers, and voice routing.
● Ability to analyze call logs, SIP traces, CDRs, and system logs to identify and resolve
issues.
● Good knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
● Experience with CRM integrations, APIs, webhooks, and call center tools is an
advantage.
● Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
