What you will do

• Act as the designated Director of Conformidade, assuming personal responsibility for AML/CFT policy effectiveness.
• Manage the VASP license authorization process and serve as the primary liaison with Brazilian regulators.
• Adapt global compliance manuals to local requirements, including CNPJ/CPF validation and PEP screening.
• Implement and oversee the Three Lines of Defense model tailored for the local crypto-asset market.
• Review high-risk local KYC/KYB tickets and manage relationships with local banking partners and payment gateways.
• Lead mandatory annual independent audits to ensure adherence to Brazilian financial regulations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in Compliance.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role within a Brazilian financial institution.
• Deep expertise in the VASP Regulatory Framework and BCB/CVM guidelines.
• Native Portuguese proficiency and fluent English (C1+).
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
