Salary: $79,000.00–$106,000.00 Annually

What you will do

• Develop control electronics for system solutions.
• Contribute to new product requirements by consulting with customers and the business development team.
• Participate in conceptual and detailed design phases through verification and certification.
• Perform prototype testing, integration testing, and design verification and validation testing.
• Create detailed Verification and Validation plans and procedures for testing control electronics.
• Support technical project planning, including designs, proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of design and development engineering work experience.
• Strong hands-on mindset.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated approach with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Proficient communication skills in writing technical documentation and public speaking presentations.
• Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in Elma, NY (remote candidates will not be considered)

Nice to have

• MS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Motor Control Electronics Experience.
• Power Electronics Experience.
• Experience in the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with military standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810); RTCA/DO-254, and RTCA/DO-160 standards.
• Current security clearance.
