What you will do
- Edit existing shaders and write new shaders using code and Shader Graph.
- Troubleshoot graphics issues during development.
- Work with physics systems like Cloth and Rigidbody.
- Set up and maintain lighting in line with the project's art direction.
- Develop and maintain a graphics quality preset system for cross-device scalability.
- Evaluate new tools, plugins, and rendering techniques for applicability to the project.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Artist within 3D game development projects.
- Experience writing custom shaders.
- Understanding of game content development pipelines and the needs of the art team.
- Solid understanding of Unity and render pipelines.
Nice to have
- Extensive gaming background.
- Strong visual awareness of stylized graphics.
- Confident working in the Unity engine, including asset integration, lighting setup, and understanding of shader and other system principles.
- Ability to create tools to streamline game content production.
