Location: Hybrid (Berlin/Erlangen) or Remote within Europe

What you will do

Lead media relations strategy in Germany and across EMEA to build brand trust.
Draft high-quality content including press releases, op-eds, and briefing documents.
Support crisis and issues management by preparing holding statements and guidance.
Partner with local policy and sales teams to drive communication campaigns aligned with business goals.
Manage relationships with local media, agencies, and spokespeople.
Monitor and report on media coverage and performance metrics.

Requirements

6-10 years of experience in external communications or public relations.
Proven media relations experience in Germany or UK/Ireland.
Fluency in both English and German is mandatory.
Strong background in energy, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
Ability to translate complex technical topics into compelling narratives for business and policy audiences.
Experience navigating global, matrixed organizations.

Nice to have

Fluency in an additional European language.
Experience with social media and digital communication channels.
