What you will do

• Architect and implement distributed backend services for key generation, storage, and lifecycle management.
• Develop high-assurance signing protocols and transaction flows using MPC or external signing hardware.
• Engineer secure backup and disaster recovery mechanisms for sensitive cryptographic material.
• Harden production systems against real-world adversarial conditions and security threats.
• Optimize performance-critical components to ensure stability and correctness in mission-critical environments.
• Collaborate with cryptography researchers and infrastructure teams to ship production-grade security solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of strong backend development experience in production environments.
• Proven experience building large-scale distributed systems, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Deep proficiency in concurrency, memory management, system design, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with distributed SQL databases and modern cloud infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure.
• Strong security engineering mindset and background in high-reliability platforms.
• Ability to work onsite in Tel Aviv-Yafo.

Nice to have

• Expertise in cryptography, MPC, threshold signatures, or key management systems.
• Familiarity with blockchain, confidential computing, or HSM integration.
• Experience with TypeScript and diverse development paradigms.
