What you will do

• Participate in critical frontend architecture decisions for complex, data-intensive energy software.
• Design and implement frontend strategies for consuming, visualizing, and interacting with large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate across teams including product, design, backend engineering, and data science.
• Navigate ambiguous problem spaces to translate intricate domain requirements into scalable UIs.
• Contribute to technical discussions and strategic initiatives beyond the core frontend focus.
• Leverage AI-augmented engineering tools to accelerate development and software quality.

Requirements

• Experience with large-scale TypeScript and React codebases is required.
• Must have demonstrable experience building and owning complex, data-intensive applications.
• Strong communication skills required for working in a remote-first team spanning multiple time zones across EU and the Americas.
• Deep expertise in modern frontend testing strategies, including unit, functional, and E2E frameworks.
• Good understanding of security best practices in an enterprise context.
• Commitment to the mission of clean energy and climate change mitigation.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with data visualization libraries like Recharts, D3, or Plotly.js.
• Familiarity with Tanstack Table, Query, Zustand, or Auth0.
• Experience with observability tools like Sentry, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes deployment pipelines.
