What you will do

• Define and drive ecosystem data strategies for marketplace and system performance metrics.
• Apply advanced machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimentation to large-scale datasets.
• Mentor data scientists and provide technical leadership across the MAI ecosystem.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate data-driven solutions.
• Establish standards and best practices for data acquisition, quality, and ML model operationalization.
• Communicate actionable insights to senior leadership to influence product strategy and service improvements.

Requirements

• Doctorate in a quantitative field with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s with 10+ years, or Bachelor’s with 12+ years of relevant data science experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying statistics, experimentation, and metrics to complex problems.
• Ability to lead large-scale collaborations across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience building, coding, and evaluating real-world systems and data collection processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of addressing novel or ambiguous challenges.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, C#, Java, or C++.
• Strong intuition for organizational and analytical challenges in large-scale ecosystems.
