What you will do

• Monitor and analyze security events across cloud and on-premises environments using SIEM tools.
• Investigate security incidents and maintain response playbooks and procedures.
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct cloud security assessments, architecture reviews, and audits against NIST and CIS frameworks.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) policies and security awareness programs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Edinburgh, UK.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven track record of leading security incident response efforts.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and Zero Trust architecture.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure security-specific credentials.
• Experience in regulated industries like financial services or energy.
• Background in offensive security or penetration testing.
• Experience with SOAR platforms and threat hunting.
