What you will do

• Review requirements and execute end-to-end smoke and regression tests for releases.
• Transition repetitive manual checks into reliable automated test suites.
• Design, maintain, and execute UI/API automated tests within nightly and CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize AI assistants to draft, refactor, and extend test code while ensuring manual validation of tool outputs.
• Investigate and triage production/pre-production defects by analyzing logs and root causes.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and improve feature testability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manual QA for web or mobile products.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Proficiency in test management and issue tracking systems like Jira or TestRail.
• English proficiency: clear communication in writing and calls required.
• Practical experience with AI tools like Cursor, Copilot, or ChatGPT for test automation support.
