What you will do
- Analyze customer requirements, assess feasibility, and create consistent, traceable internal requirements.
- Design software components and implement embedded C code according to internal requirements.
- Coordinate with developers across software modules and worldwide locations on interfaces and cross-module issues.
- Perform code reviews, software unit tests, bench tests, and software release procedures using the Conti toolchain.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported by customers, testers, and software developers, coordinating fixes across relevant modules.
- Manage software configuration, documentation, milestones, lessons learned, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of embedded software development experience in the automotive industry.
- Advanced C programming skills and experience with embedded automotive development.
- Basic English communication skills for technical collaboration with international software developers.
- Knowledge of electronic brake control systems, vehicle development, or ECU product development is preferred.
- Knowledge of A-SPICE and Agile development processes is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with brake and chassis systems, including ABS, ESP, ESC, e-booster, or EPB.
- Familiarity with Vector tools, PTC, and GitHub.
- Experience with flash loaders, bootloaders, or OTA.
- Strong intercultural competence and experience working in international teams.
