What you will do
- Build and lead the internal audit team, defining the operating model, methodology, and infrastructure.
- Conduct semi-annual enterprise-wide risk assessments to design a dynamic, risk-based audit plan.
- Oversee audit engagements across operational, financial, technology, product, and compliance domains.
- Manage co-sourced and outsourced audit providers to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Present thematic insights, control weaknesses, and audit outcomes to the Audit Committee and senior management.
- Embed data analytics into planning and execution to enhance assurance coverage and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or operational control in financial services or fintech.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Deep understanding of internal control frameworks, data governance, and BNPL operating models.
- Familiarity with the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates regulatory expectations.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python for audit analytics.
- Fluent English proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, or CFE.
- Master’s degree or advanced qualification.
