What you will do

  • Build and lead the internal audit team, defining the operating model, methodology, and infrastructure.
  • Conduct semi-annual enterprise-wide risk assessments to design a dynamic, risk-based audit plan.
  • Oversee audit engagements across operational, financial, technology, product, and compliance domains.
  • Manage co-sourced and outsourced audit providers to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Present thematic insights, control weaknesses, and audit outcomes to the Audit Committee and senior management.
  • Embed data analytics into planning and execution to enhance assurance coverage and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or operational control in financial services or fintech.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of internal control frameworks, data governance, and BNPL operating models.
  • Familiarity with the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates regulatory expectations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python for audit analytics.
  • Fluent English proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, or CFE.
  • Master’s degree or advanced qualification.
