TL;DR
Support Engineer: Taking over pre-qualified tickets from first-level support and acting as the expert for in-depth analysis and sustainable problem resolution with an accent on ensuring the stability of applications and providing a smooth user experience. Location: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite) in Budapest office

What you will do
- Analyze, prioritize, and resolve tickets handed over by L1 support.
- Take full ownership of incidents and drive them to resolution across team and system boundaries.
- Perform technical investigations, evaluate logs, interfaces, and system messages, and collaborate closely with development and other cross-functional teams when deeper intervention is required.
- Proactively identify system weaknesses and improvement opportunities to enhance stability and performance.
- Identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions or temporary workarounds.
- Actively leverage AI tools, LLMs, and automation to accelerate analysis and improve support processes, and drive the adoption of these technologies within the team.
Requirements
- Passionate about technology, whether through formal education, vocational training, or self-taught experience.
- Enjoy getting to the root of complex problems and finding well-thought-out, sustainable solutions.
- Understand how applications interact, from APIs and interfaces to middleware.
- Able to use SQL, logging tools, and monitoring systems effectively to identify root causes.
- Enthusiastic about AI, LLMs, and automation and enjoy experimenting with new tools and approaches.
- Fluent in English; German skills are a plus, but not required.
