Founded in 2012, Anshar Studios is a growing game development company with over 180 specialists based in Katowice. The studio is working on several unannounced projects and developing Painkiller. The company is looking for an experienced Senior Game Designer to contribute to core gameplay systems and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while mentoring junior designers.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Contribute to core gameplay development
• Work with production to assist and provide feedback on plans and schedules
• Take responsibility for larger areas of game design within the project
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide feedback for overall game improvement
• Suggest features and updates to enhance player experience
• Mentor and guide junior designers
• Analyze user testing results and recommend design solutions
📚 Required Skills
• At least 4 years of experience as a Game Designer
• Credited as a designer in at least 2 commercial video games
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5
• Experience with scripting languages
• Strong experience in core gameplay development
• Ability to create clear and concise game design documents
• Understanding of market and gaming trends
• Experience in game balance tuning
• Strong organizational skills and ability to structure own work
• English at minimum B2 level
• Polish at minimum B2 level
👍 Nice to Have
• Experience with UI and UX design
• Experience supervising a game design team
