Lead Designer (Unannounced Project)

TL;DR

Lead Designer (Game Design): Defining gameplay pillars and collaborating with other leads to develop actionable solutions for an unannounced project with an accent on team leadership and systems design. Focus on providing feedback to overall gameplay, combat, systems, story, and level design.

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland (3 days from office, 2 days remote, with additional remote days). Relocation budget available for candidates from abroad to Warsaw.

What you will do

• Collaborate with Directors to define gameplay pillars for the game vision.
• Work with other Leads to develop concrete, actionable solutions for development challenges.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers.
• Collaborate with other teams on foundational systems.
• Provide feedback on overall gameplay, combat, systems, story, and level design.

Requirements

• Experience as Lead Designer or Design Director.
• 8+ years of experience in game design (gameplay and/or systems).
• Experience with combat design.
• Very good skills in managing a design team.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in the Warsaw office.
• Knowledge of Polish and English at B2 level or above.
• Ability to write project documentation and define technical requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine.
