🦄 Description
11 bit studios is looking for an experienced Lead Designer to join an unannounced project. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Directors and other domain Leads to shape the game vision, define gameplay pillars, and deliver high-quality gameplay, systems, and narrative experiences. You will lead and mentor a team of designers while contributing to the overall creative and technical direction of the project.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Directors to define gameplay pillars aligned with the game vision
• Work with other domain Leads to create actionable solutions for development challenges
• Lead, mentor, and provide feedback to a team of designers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on key foundational systems
• Provide feedback on gameplay, combat, systems, story, and level design
📚 Required Skills
• Experience as a Lead Designer or Design Director
• 8+ years of experience in game design gameplay and or systems
• Experience with combat design
• Strong skills in managing and mentoring a design team
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Warsaw office
• Experience working on indie or AA projects with understanding of their constraints and strengths
• Knowledge of Polish and English at B2 level or higher
• Ability to write clear and structured project documentation
• Ability to define technical requirements
• Ability to work within time and project constraints
• Very good communication skills
• Strong passion for games and the game development industry
