TL;DR

Business Systems Developer (.NET): Designing, building, enhancing, and supporting Bauer UK business applications and integrations across the Microsoft web applications estate with an accent on delivering new functionality and maintaining existing solutions. Focus on translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable technical solutions.

Location: Hybrid role based in either London or Peterborough, UK.

What you will do

• Deliver enhancements and new solutions to agreed scope and timelines.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable technical solutions.
• Enhance and maintain .NET and SharePoint Online solutions, including SPFx components (TypeScript/React), forms, and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/JSON APIs and service endpoints.
• Build and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell/PnP, SQL) for monitoring, reporting, and recovery.
• Provide technical support across .NET and SharePoint Online systems owned by the team.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 development experience, including SPFx (TypeScript, React, Node.js).
• Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) development, support, and administration.
• PowerShell automation and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and integration support.
• Experience using version control systems (e.g. Git) and modern development tools (e.g. Visual Studio).

Nice to have

• Commercial experience with C# / ASP.NET and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Systems integration experience using REST/JSON APIs and web services.
• Dynamics CRM customisation/development (plugins, workflows).
• Experience supporting Linux/Windows integration infrastructure (cron, SSH/SFTP, Samba/DFS, SSRS scheduling).
