Lead Engineer (Localization): Leading a technical engineering team to develop and maintain core systems for dialogue authoring and content pipelines with an accent on Unreal Engine integration and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on optimizing dialogue pipelines, mentoring technical talent, and ensuring high-quality localization delivery across multiple AAA projects.
Location: Hybrid, must be based in or relocate to Warsaw, Poland.
Salary: 39,800 – 54,670 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do
- Lead and support a team of localization engineers focused on dialogue and content pipelines.
- Develop core technical features for dialogue authoring tools within Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, writers, and QA departments to ensure cohesive narrative experiences.
- Optimize and debug complex features to maintain high performance across multiple AAA titles.
- Foster professional growth and mentor members of the development team.
- Ensure technical alignment across Shared Development Services for various studio projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with Unreal Engine in AA or AAA game production.
- Proven experience leading a development team of approximately 7 members.
- Credited on at least one shipped AA or AAA title in a lead or management role.
- Expertise in C++ and Unreal Engine 5.
- Direct experience with dialogue authoring tools, screenplay editors, or localization pipelines.
- Strong working proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Experience with relational databases.
- Proficiency in gRPC.
- Experience with C# and .NET.
