What you will do

• Research and benchmark cutting-edge AI advancements from top-tier conferences for real-world automotive use cases.
• Build and modify AI models for resource-constrained environments using cloud-based development pipelines.
• Optimize AI models for deployment on embedded devices and automotive hardware.
• Contribute to autonomous driving features, including safety systems and assisted parking.
• Develop lightweight Small Language Models for in-vehicle interactive cockpits and conversational assistants.
• Document technical findings and present results to the global engineering team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning projects, whether academic, personal, or open-source.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document technical work.
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for staying updated on latest AI trends.
• Must be based in or able to work from Singapore.

Nice to have

• Practical experience compiling and deploying code onto hardware targets such as Raspberry Pi or microcontrollers.
• Prior coursework or project focus on Deep Learning and Computer Vision.
