What you will do

• Build and tune security detections across R&D and robotaxi vehicle fleets.
• Onboard and utilize complex vehicle telemetry from edge compute and fleet pipelines.
• Define and improve security logging in collaboration with autonomy and robotics teams.
• Investigate alerts, perform triage, and conduct threat hunting across distributed systems.
• Contribute to broader security operations, including cloud and IT estate monitoring.
• Assist with incident response activities and post-incident evidence collection.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in security monitoring, detection engineering, or SOC environments.
• Proficiency with log data, SIEMs, or observability platforms.
• Strong understanding of detection engineering, alert tuning, and attacker behavior (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
• Experience working with IoT, OT, embedded systems, or edge compute environments.
• Ability to write queries, detections, or scripts using Python, SQL, or KQL.
• Must be able to work from London or Sunnyvale offices on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

• Background in automotive, robotics, or fleet-based security.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of streaming data or large-scale logging telemetry pipelines.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GCIA, GCIH, GCED, GICSP).
