What you will do

• Take ownership of data quality for assigned regions and commodity groups by reviewing internal and external sources.
• Identify and implement technology and process improvements to increase the accuracy of seaborne flow data.
• Monitor market news and trends to provide evidence for product managers to improve algorithms and business rules.
• Respond to ad-hoc client requests via email, chat, and meetings with rapid data analysis.
• Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to meet specific client data needs.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience working with large or unstructured data sets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python.
• Proven experience with data integration and working with databases.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Postman, Tableau, Appsmith, or Rundeck.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in an international, cross-cultural environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in shipping and trading.
• Deep knowledge of Agriculture dry bulk commodities like grains, oilseeds, and fertilizers.
