What you will do

• Independently self-shoot and edit interviews and sequences using camera or MOJO equipment.
• Produce multi-platform content tailored for diverse audiences, prioritizing iPlayer streaming.
• Collaborate across hirify.global Network and regional teams to share material and maintain best practices.
• Plan and prioritize work independently while managing tight deadlines.
• Contribute creative story and format ideas with strong editorial judgment.
• Apply hirify.global Editorial Guidelines to ensure accurate and impartial journalism.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a self-shooting journalist with strong production and visual storytelling skills.
• Demonstrable history of producing digital or linear video packages using FCP or Premiere.
• Effective planning and organizational skills for working with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently without supervision while maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support always-on news coverage.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in longer-form programme making.
• Understanding of multi-platform storytelling for news-avoidant audiences.
• Knowledge of the UK VOD and streaming landscape.
