TL;DR

Data Scientist (AI/ML): Identifying and building advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to improve decision-making, workflows, and automation with an accent on prototyping and delivering data-driven products. Focus on developing, testing, and deploying machine learning and statistical models, and establishing lifecycle management processes for models.

Location: Houston, TX. Some onsite work required.

What you will do

• Identify and frame opportunities to apply advanced analytics and related technologies.
• Evaluate the business value of proposed data science solutions.
• Clean, prepare, and analyze data to solve business challenges.
• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and statistical models.
• Engage with business stakeholders to present outcomes and identify new opportunities.
• Provide technical mentoring in modeling, analytics technologies, and consulting practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience applying data science, machine learning, or AI to real-world problems.
• Strong background in advanced analytics, including machine learning, statistics, operations research, or data mining.
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem.
• Experience engaging with both business and technical stakeholders across multiple levels.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in generative AI, including building agentic solutions.
• Working knowledge of midstream operations.
• Strong collaboration skills across functional and geographic teams.
