CG Developer (Pipeline)

What you will do

• Develop software and backend tools for the production of 3D animated movies.
• Design and adapt production pipelines to meet new creative and technical challenges.
• Create plugins, scripts, and GUIs to automate and optimize artist workflows.
• Collaborate with artists to gather requirements and design new system features.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and evolve existing production systems.
• Document and present new toolsets to the studio team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in CG or Pipeline development within a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python and Qt.
• Experience developing plugins or scripts for Maya, Nuke, Arnold, or Houdini.
• English: Professional fluency required.
• Must be registered as a sole proprietor or self-employed professional for freelance contracts.
• Must be able to work onsite in Budapest at least once a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ development.
• Experience developing for Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with Rez package management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in GitHub/GitLab.
• Hungarian language proficiency.
