AI Engineer (EdTech)

What you will do

• Build and test prompt chains and agent workflows using Langgraph.
• Prototype new AI features, including evaluation tools and content processing pipelines.
• Run model output evaluations, write scoring logic, and identify failure modes.
• Improve document processing and retrieval pipelines for educational content.
• Contribute to internal tools to enhance team productivity and development speed.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in CS, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands (no sponsorship).
• Available for at least 16 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency in Python and practical experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Demonstrable experience building AI-related projects outside of coursework.

Nice to have

• Experience with orchestration tools like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Familiarity with FastAPI or other async Python frameworks.
• Exposure to vector databases like Milvus, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
• Understanding of evaluation and monitoring for LLM-based applications.
• Experience deploying small projects to production.
