What you will do

• Maintain core infrastructure availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring.
• Support security assessments, patch management, and compliance standards.
• Evaluate and improve existing architectures, tools, and workflows.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to design operational tools.
• Provide Tier 2 support for virtualization, backup, and infrastructure systems.
• Implement automation to streamline tasks and enforce infrastructure policies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing and optimizing VMware environments.
• Proven experience deploying and supporting large-scale VDI environments.
• Strong background in designing secure system and network architectures.
• Hands-on experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with enterprise hardware platforms and HCI environments.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and infrastructure security.

Nice to have

• Practical experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITSM systems like Zabbix or Jira.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Ansible.
