What you will do

• Design and develop solutions for individual life insurance products
• Build and enhance event-driven architectures utilizing Java, Angular, Kafka, and OpenShift
• Apply cloud-native development and domain-driven design (DDD) practices
• Ensure system security, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Maintain services via CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into enterprise architectures

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on Java
• Proven proficiency in Java, Angular, Kafka, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Quarkus, and MongoDB
• Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Fluent in English
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach in agile environments

Nice to have

• Experience in the insurance domain
• Familiarity with large-scale enterprise systems
• Knowledge of German language
