Middle DevOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design and maintain the software delivery infrastructure for a NextJS application migrating from Vercel to Kubernetes.
• Define dynamic QA environments with isolated PostgreSQL databases, S3 buckets, configuration management, and branch-based deployments.
• Develop release workflows that promote and roll back code from QA to staging and production while minimizing disruption.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, PostgreSQL, and object storage connected to Kubernetes deployments.
• Define and troubleshoot Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines, shell scripts, automation, and Argo CD workflows.
• Contribute infrastructure expertise to architectural decisions and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or GCP services, infrastructure management, and cloud security best practices.
• Strong understanding of Bitbucket CI/CD build pipelines and Git.
• Experience deploying NextJS applications to Kubernetes and defining QA, staging, and production environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible, plus shell scripting, Python, or automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills; a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
