Middle DevOps Engineer (AWS)

TL;DR

Middle DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for high-load NextJS applications with an accent on cloud migration from Vercel to Kubernetes. Focus on defining robust deployment strategies, managing Postgres and S3 resources, and ensuring system security within AWS environments.

Location: Remote (Poland). Candidates are expected to be based in Poland due to company benefits structure.

What you will do

• Architect and implement the CI/CD pipeline for deploying NextJS applications to Kubernetes.
• Define build and release processes for dynamic environments, including automated setup and teardown for QA, staging, and production.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure including Postgres databases and Object Storage.
• Ensure security compliance and governance policies within AWS.
• Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools like Argo CD and shell/Python scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams on architectural decisions and CI/CD integrations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in an SRE or DevOps role.
• Strong understanding of AWS or GCP services and infrastructure management.
• Proven track record with Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with NextJS, Kubernetes, and configuration management.
• Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of shell scripting and Python for automation.
