Senior Software Engineer (Observability): Designing and building observability foundations for cloud-native services and the organization’s LLM/AI stack with an accent on telemetry pipelines, alerting, and developer experience. Location: Must be based in or able to work in Krakow, Poland. This is a hybrid role requiring regular attendance at our local office.

Salary: 257,000–385,000 PLN annually.

What you will do

• Architect and operate end-to-end observability systems including metrics, traces, and logs.
• Develop observability primitives specifically for LLM and AI infrastructure paths.
• Create reusable instrumentation templates and developer libraries to ensure consistent telemetry.
• Onboard and upskill engineering teams across EMEA through training and playbook creation.
• Collaborate with SRE, Platform, Security, and Cost teams to ensure scalable and compliant telemetry.
• Automate observability tasks and improve developer experience through CI/CD integrations.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in Poland is required.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years focused on observability, SRE, or monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong background in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and AWS environments.
• Production-level coding skills in Go, Python, or Ruby.
• Ability to design telemetry pipelines with a strong focus on cost-efficiency and data validation.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry for ML, Jaeger, Seldon, MLflow, or Feast.
• Prior experience driving cross-region enablement and training initiatives.
• Knowledge of PII handling, encryption, and data security in telemetry.
