Curriculum Product Manager (AI)

TL;DR

Curriculum Product Manager (AI): Co-creating AI/ML courses on Coursera and the DeepLearning.AI platform through partnerships with world-class AI experts with an accent on learning experience design to help AI experts produce high-quality courses and effective learning experiences. Focus on guiding Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) through the course creation process and ensuring consistently high content quality.

Location: On-site in Mountain View, CA. Must already have authorization to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Co-create AI/ML courses on Coursera and the DeepLearning.AI platform through partnerships with world-class AI experts.
• Guide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and content development partners through the course creation process.
• Ensure consistently high content quality by holding the bar for technical content that is accurate, engaging, and effective.
• Develop an independent perspective on the material being taught to assist the SME in fleshing out topics and creating relevant learning material.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on technical AI content, improving the words, visuals, code, and overall flow of ideas.
• Work closely with a production and visual design team to record videos, add visual design, and deliver high-quality multimedia content.

Requirements

• Technical background in math and programming at a level sufficient to follow and successfully complete an online course in machine learning.
• Proficient in math (calculus, linear algebra, statistics etc.) and Python programming (functions, classes, data structures etc.).
• Basic knowledge of AI / machine learning is required.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design best practices, with experience in designing, structuring, and teaching technical courses.
• Demonstrated ability to create interactive, applied learning experiences.
• Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related STEM area, or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent communicator and team player with the ability to author and edit high-quality written content in English.
• Familiarity with prompting and GenAI tools.

Nice to have

• A PhD in Math, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience developing online asynchronous curriculum in the areas of GenAI, AI, machine learning, data science, robotics, or similar.
• Research or industry experience as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, or similar.
