Curriculum Product Manager (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; on-site five days per week in the office

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Co-create AI and machine learning courses for Coursera and the hirify.global platform with subject matter experts.
• Guide subject matter experts and content partners through the course creation process.
• Review technical content for accuracy, engagement, and educational effectiveness.
• Transform technical material into effective learning experiences through improvements to text, visuals, code, and course structure.
• Track course creation and external reviews, creating course elements when needed.
• Collaborate with production and visual design teams to create videos and multimedia curriculum content.

Requirements

• Technical background in mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra, and statistics, and proficiency in Python.
• Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning with the ability to quickly learn new technical topics.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design and experience designing, structuring, and teaching technical courses.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain authorization to work in the United States and work on-site five days per week.

Nice to have

• PhD in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience developing asynchronous online curricula in GenAI, AI, machine learning, data science, robotics, or related areas.
• Research or industry experience as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, or similar.
• Familiarity with prompting and GenAI tools.
