What you will do

• Build and support high quality, high performing, scalable and secure software.
• Contribute as a member of a cross-functional agile development team.
• Create, maintain, upgrade, and implement software code, coding guidelines, tools, processes, and metrics.
• Perform code reviews based on industry best practices.
• Proactively contribute to hirify.global technology, identifying challenges, anticipating risks, and developing scalable solutions to complex problems across multiple products.

Requirements

• Proficient coding skills across a variety of languages (i.e.: C#, JavaScript, etc.).
• Ability to conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Can research, create proof of concepts, and introduce new technologies to the team.
• Extensive experience in writing and maintaining tests and testable code.
• Demonstrates consistent problem-solving skills, adept at deconstructing complex issues, leveraging data for decision-making, and innovating creative solutions beyond conventional options.
• Understands, identifies, and implements security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with source control (GitHub) and working in CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Cloud Hosting (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) and infrastructure-as-Code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals including OO design, data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems, security, caching, human computer interaction.
• Understanding of accessibility and why it matters
