Senior Observability Engineer

What you will do

• Design and build robust, scalable, and highly available observability infrastructure.
• Manage large-scale data pipelines and storage for logs, metrics, traces, and RUM.
• Drive the development of self-service observability capabilities for internal business units.
• Ensure performance and reliability of observability stacks like Grafana and Victoria ecosystem.
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmaps to optimize cost, storage, and reliability.
• Provide technical mentorship and foster a culture of engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and maintaining complex observability platforms at scale.
• Strong background in telemetry infrastructure including OpenTelemetry, Fluentbit, and Victoria Metrics.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Proficiency in development languages like Golang or Python for building tools and automation.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on infrastructure as code and system improvement.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical stakeholders.
