What you will do
- Develop and maintain resilient public and internal REST APIs using Node.js and MongoDB in a microservice architecture.
- Build and maintain high-quality web applications with React.js for 24/7 emergency dispatch operations.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and leadership teams to make data-driven technical decisions.
- Leverage AI-powered coding tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Identify, research, and evaluate new technologies to solve project challenges.
- Ensure application architecture remains secure, up-to-date, and well-tested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for both front-end and back-end development.
- Experience with database design and development.
- Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship or immigration-related support available.
Nice to have
- Experience working with high-availability, high-throughput services.
- Experience with external-facing APIs and third-party platform integrations.
- Deep familiarity with established frameworks like React.js.
