An AI-native startup building a comprehensive trade compliance engine to automate customs filings, reporting, and regulatory tasks for global organizations.

What you will do

  • Build and scale the backend architecture for an AI-powered trade compliance engine.
  • Develop clean, well-structured APIs and services using TypeScript and NestJS.
  • Integrate LLMs and AI services, such as Amazon Bedrock, into core business logic.
  • Design reliable data flows and interfaces between internal systems and external services.
  • Ensure high performance, observability, and security standards in production environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AI, frontend, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience building backend systems with TypeScript and NestJS or similar frameworks.
  • Proven ability to design and operate APIs and backend services in production environments.
  • Experience integrating or working with LLMs and AI-driven services.
  • Deep commitment to system correctness, reliability, and performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated or enterprise software environments.
