is building an AI-native trade compliance engine to automate and orchestrate customs, tariffs, and regulatory reporting for enterprise customers.
What you will do
- Develop and improve parsers for regulatory documents from 50+ countries, maintaining legal structural integrity.
- Implement hybrid retrieval systems combining semantic search with exact legal-term matching and re-ranking.
- Design and deploy LLM-driven workflows with integrated guardrails and audit logs.
- Build evaluation frameworks and regression tests to improve retrieval and answer accuracy.
- Contribute to full-stack development using TypeScript (NestJS/NextJS) and Python for production-ready features.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with RAG in production is essential.
- Proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, and model orchestration.
- Strong backend engineering skills in TypeScript or Python.
- Experience handling unstructured data, messy PDFs, and complex table structures.
- Startup mindset with an ability to thrive in a high-pace environment with evolving requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with hybrid retrieval techniques.
- Background in legal, regulatory, tax, or financial domains.
- Familiarity with building AI evaluation frameworks.
- Multi-language NLP experience.
