Test Automation Team Leader

What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of automation developers in a high-scale Cloud product environment.
• Drive rapid product release cycles by partnering closely with development and production teams.
• Act as a technical leader to define strategies for code reviews, test planning, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with product management and customer success teams to align execution and strategy.
• Implement and evolve AI-driven quality practices to enhance test coverage and proactively detect risks.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing a team of 4+ automation developers.
• 4+ years of experience in automation development within large-scale team environments.
• Strong background in testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and concurrent execution for SaaS web-based products.
• Proficiency in OOP languages such as TypeScript, Java, or Python and automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and REST APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with management philosophies like Management by Strengths.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
• Experience using reporting tools like Report-Portal.
