What you will do

• Build and maintain tools to streamline the ingestion and release of open source software.
• Create developer-facing documentation and training materials for open source participation.
• Analyze and report on trends and statistics across open source repositories.
• Represent the organization by interfacing with open source communities and partners.
• Identify and select new projects for the open source program.
• Contribute feedback, documentation, and code to core products.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Portugal
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or related role.
• Fluency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, C#, or Rust.
• Strong interest in building developer tools that enhance engineer productivity.
• Excellent communication skills for fostering cross-functional and community relationships.

Nice to have

• Active involvement in open source communities.
• Familiarity with open source licenses and Contributor License Agreements (CLAs).
