Salary: $192,000–$278,000 USD (USA) / $171,000–$248,000 CAD (Canada)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and inclusivity.
• Coordinate cycle planning, design reviews, and project roadmaps for authentication features.
• Drive technical execution, ensuring high velocity and software quality.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers to scale hiring and onboarding processes.
• Contribute hands-on to complex technical challenges and system design.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing a software engineering team.
• Significant hands-on development experience, preferably in the application space.
• 1+ years of experience in the authentication and identity domain.
• Deep understanding of protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, WebAuthn, and passkeys.
• Must be authorized to work and currently based in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience managing remote and distributed teams.
• Background in user experience or design.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Swift, Rust, JavaScript, or Go.
