What you will do

• Develop and maintain RESTful API endpoints using FastAPI for signal retrieval and action management.
• Design and implement authentication and authorization layers using Azure AD, including MFA and role-based access control.
• Build and manage complex state machine workflows for briefing approvals with immutable audit logging.
• Integrate multi-channel communication services including WhatsApp Business API and SMS/Email fallbacks.
• Ensure high reliability through session management via Azure Redis Cache and defensive state handling.
• Collaborate on phase-two integrations including ERP API contracts and sovereign compute migrations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Python 3.10+ and async/await paradigms.
• Deep expertise in FastAPI, including dependency injection and Pydantic models.
• Proven ability to manage PostgreSQL databases using SQLAlchemy and optimize raw queries.
• Strong background in designing REST APIs with clear versioning and OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with Azure AD, OAuth 2.0, and JWT validation.
• Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines using Docker and GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Twilio API for messaging services.
• Experience with distributed lock patterns in Redis.
• Background in building high-load, production-grade state machines.
