HR Business Partner

TL;DR

HR Business Partner (Insurance/Tech): Acting as a strategic partner to the Baltic IT hub, you will drive employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development with an accent on translating business strategy into people solutions. Focus on coaching leadership, managing complex matrixed stakeholders, and fostering a strong employer brand within the Latvian organization.

Location: Riga, Latvia (Hybrid: must be in office at least 3 days per week)

Salary: €3,100–€3,500 gross per month

What you will do

• Serve as the single point of contact for IT unit managers on people-related matters.
• Coach leaders on performance, retention, engagement, and leadership development.
• Align local organizational needs with Baltic, Group, and IT strategy.
• Collaborate with HR operations, Talent Acquisition, and group HR teams.
• Act as a senior HR anchor in Latvia, building trust with employees and leaders.
• Contribute to HR project strategy and the development of new ways of working.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in Latvian and English.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in an international, matrixed, or tech/engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle.
• Ability to work independently and act as a trusted advisor to senior management.
• Higher education in HR, psychology, social sciences, or a related field.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
