Field Account Executive

Location: Must be based in Portland, ME (USA). Role is highly field-based with 70–80% travel required.

What you will do

• Prospect, pitch, and close new merchant partnerships within the assigned territory.
• Conduct daily site visits to prospective merchants and attend industry events.
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle through in-person, phone, and digital touchpoints.
• Meet or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
• Serve as a local market expert to identify untapped growth opportunities.
• Maintain disciplined documentation of sales activities and metrics in Salesforce.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience.
• Expertise in full-cycle B2B sales methodologies.
• Strong negotiation and time management skills.
• Proven record of exceeding quotas and OKRs.
• Must be available for 70–80% regional and local travel.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
